I’ve been monkeying with cooking macros and this is what I’m using. Below are all or campfire options that allow you to cook food. Of them, Brazier of Dancing Flames has the shortest cooldown at 3 minutes (and doesn’t trip the cooldown on the other toys). There’s two pets that can be used to cook, but they both need to be obtained on a linked P2P account. My macro opens the cooking profession window, equips the Chef’s Hat, and uses a toy. If you can get the other cooking items, you could equip those also.
/equip Chef’s Hat
/use Little Wickerman
Toys (shared cooldown)
There’s a few threads out there that talk about the raids we can get into. Here’s a summary and why you should go.
Trial of the Crusader
Bastion of Twilight
Throne of the Four Winds
Most of the lists I’m keeping updated on the F2P Twinkinfo site (rather than on this blog as there’s roughly 2 people who look at this blog). There are a few that I’m keeping updated on this blog though as they just don’t seem to have much interest on the F2P site. Here’s the a list of all the lists I’m keeping updated (so both Twinkinfo and this blog).
I’m finally brushing the dust off of my Druid and updating some posts with a 6.0 tag.
So with the nerfing of Haalani Whiskey down to +7 stam (not really worth the trip to Outland any more), Rumsey Rum Dark is now the best stam buff at +10 Stam. That pretty much leaves the variety of +6 stam foods as the go-to stam buff for most ocassions.
The Rum is still good to keep in your bag for clutch moments when you want to go all-out (you don’t need to sit and eat – its an instant buff you can do on the run), but considering the Rum is a pain to farm…it’s time to start cooking. :/
Looks like Wild Bucks are probably the best thing to farm. They have pretty much 100% chance of either dropping the +6 stam food, or mats to cook +6 stam food.
I was fishing the DMF this weekend…hoping to finally get my Sea Pony (been fishing DMF since it was moved to the island and still no Pony) and realized there was no one fishing pools.
I stopped fishing pools awhile ago when they made a change to Alchemy, which made the Darkmoon Firewater less attractive. There’s really only three reasons to fish DMF pools: 1) money as some of the items sell really well, 2) Firewater, and 3) the Sea Turtle. The problem is though that its usually really crowded so unless I really want something, I’m not going to bother fishing the pools (and I no longer need the Firewater or the money).
Anyway, I gave the pools a shot since it looked like I was all alone…and after 9 pools, I got my Sea Turtle!
No pet yet, but I’ll take the mount. :)
I’m still around, just haven’t been updating much. SPQR noted that Black War Bears are placed straight into your spell book when you get the achievement. I’m guessing this is shift to making all pets/mounts rewarded from achievements being added straight to your spell book. :)
