So with the nerfing of Haalani Whiskey down to +7 stam (not really worth the trip to Outland any more), Rumsey Rum Dark is now the best stam buff at +10 Stam. That pretty much leaves the variety of +6 stam foods as the go-to stam buff for most ocassions.
The Whiskey and the Rum is still good to keep in your bag for clutch moments when you want to go all-out, but considering the Rum is a pain to farm, and the Whiskey only stacks in 3…it’s time to start cooking. :/
Looks like Wild Bucks are probably the best thing to farm. They have pretty much 100% chance of either dropping the +6 stam food, or mats to cook +6 stam food.
I was fishing the DMF this weekend…hoping to finally get my Sea Pony (been fishing DMF since it was moved to the island and still no Pony) and realized there was no one fishing pools.
I stopped fishing pools awhile ago when they made a change to Alchemy, which made the Darkmoon Firewater less attractive. There’s really only three reasons to fish DMF pools: 1) money as some of the items sell really well, 2) Firewater, and 3) the Sea Turtle. The problem is though that its usually really crowded so unless I really want something, I’m not going to bother fishing the pools (and I no longer need the Firewater or the money).
Anyway, I gave the pools a shot since it looked like I was all alone…and after 9 pools, I got my Sea Turtle!
No pet yet, but I’ll take the mount.
I’m still around, just haven’t been updating much. SPQR noted that Black War Bears are placed straight into your spell book when you get the achievement. I’m guessing this is shift to making all pets/mounts rewarded from achievements being added straight to your spell book.
Finally got my Master of Warsong Gulch this weekend. First time I’ve gotten it on any toon since I started playing back in 2005. Not only did I happen to get it on my birthday, but I also happened to have an Iron Man run without even trying.
Here’s a list of the items I’m still going after. Who knows if I’ll ever see them all (doubt it). There’s a few rings on there due to me screwing up my quest rewards while leveling (picked intel rings instead of agility for whatever silly reason)
So I created two new categories “P2P”, and “Outdated”. I’m going to go through all my posts, and for those that are out-dated, I’ll take out of the current category and put into the “outdated” category. The idea is that as I clean them up, I’ll move them back into whatever category they belong to. I’ll also be removed the “MoP” category as this happens.
It just occurred to me why Wowhead uses a black background and white text (its bothered me for years). The white-quality gear links won’t show up.
Now that I’m using the wowhead injector addon for Firefox I realized that the theme for my blog is bad. You can see the new theme, which isn’t quite as tasty as the last one, but still looks okay (I’d prefer plain white text instead of gray…I think it’d be easier to read).
