I would say, before you start Enchanting, you should definitely decide what enchants you want to stockpile. After reviewing what’s available to Enchanters, here’s what I’ve decided I’d like to make and store for future use. I’m going to stock up a few of each formula listed below (so the actual numbers might change a wee bit), keeping in mind that I might have two sets of gear for PvE-Bear/PvP-Cat and Balance/Resto (both PvP and PvE).
- Enchant 2H Weapon – Minor Impact (+2 damage, blue glow)
- Enchant 2H Weapon – Lesser Intellect (+3 intellect, yellow glow)
- Enchant Chest – Lesser Health (+15 health)
- Enchant Bracer – Minor Agility (+1 agility)
- Enchant Bracer – Minor Stamina (+1 stamina)
Here’s the route it looks like I’ll take. Enchant Bracer – Minor Stamina is orange until 100, so you can use that as a filler for any other gaps you may have. I’m not listing out the mat requirements as Enchanting is both a gathering and crafting prof so you can’t really “stockpile and then powerlevel” (at least not further than stockpiling some very bag-consuming armor/weapons for Disenchanting).
1 Runed Rod
2-45 DE whatever you have in your bank. You can actually DE up to 50.
46-65 Wizard Oil (even if you don’t want these, I recommend making them as you can re-sell them for a profit)
66-71 Chest – Lesser Health
69-80 Bracer – Minor Stamina (orange to 100)
81-82 Chest – Lesser Mana
83-85 Bracer – Minor Agility
86-90 Bracer – Minor Stamina (orange to 100)
91-96 Cloak – Minor Protection
97-100 Weapon – Minor Striking
100 2H Weapon – Minor Impact
100 2H Weapon – Lesser Intellect
Powerleveling for the Darkmoon Faire is pretty simple as you can get all the mats from vendors between faires. You just need to get a total of 76 Strange Dust and Lesser Magic Essences. You should add an extra Strange Dust for every Wizard Oil you’d like to stock up on as they require 2 dusts to make once you hit 45.
